Reading Homework

Reading homework begins tonight! Every first grader is bringing home a red book pouch full of books. They will also have a Monthly Minutes packet. Please help your child find a safe place to keep the monthly minutes. 

Book Shopping

Today we all picked out leveled reading books. We put the books in our new red pouches. These pouches will go back and forth from school to home every day. We always have great books to read!

Mancala

We learned how to play Mancala. It was a great way to learn some counting strategies and practice being a good sport!

First Day Hooray!

We had a great day.
