READ ACROSS AMERICA DAY (Wednesday 3/2)
*Spirit Day:  Ox Ridge School will be celebrating by having a spirit day.  Everyone is encouraged to dress up as a favorite storybook character.  We will attend an assembly in the morning.
*Dr. Seuss:  We’d love to borrow some Dr. Seuss books for a few days.  If you have some books, please make sure your child’s name is written inside the cover.
*Green Eggs & Ham:  After the assembly our class will have a special breakfast party in honor of Dr. Seuss’ birthday.  Thank you to the following party sponsors:
            DeRiso: 2 dozen eggs
            Choudhri:  2 dozen eggs
            Thomson:  18 slices of ham
            Miranda:  Juice
            Giordano:  plates, napkins, cups, forks

This Friday’s spirit day is called Cupid Colors.  Wear Valentine colors of pink, red, or purple…show your love!

VALENTINES CARDS
Valentine cards can be sent in any day this week.  We will decorate bags to use as “mailboxes” this week.

VALENTINTES DAY PARTY
We will be having a pizza party in our classroom for lunch on Friday.  We will not be going to the cafeteria.  If your child does not eat pizza, please send in a lunch for him/her.   Thank you to our party “sponsors”:

CARDS & TOYS
There have been some problems with baseball/football/Pokemon cards.  Please remind your child to keep any special cards and toys at home.  They are creating a distraction and becoming a source of conflict.
