NEW YEAR
In 2015 our classroom goal word was “automatic”.  This was the word we used to become more independent with things like unpacking, packing, writing our names on paper, etc.  In 2016 our new goal word is “careful”.  This means working carefully in all areas of our school day.  This can mean different things in different subjects.  For example, in math, working carefully means checking to make sure numbers are written correctly and checking our answers.  In writing being careful means checking for capital letters at the beginning of every sentence.
