AUTHOR VISIT

Our school librarian, Mrs. Blake, has arranged for author Christine Ieronimo to visit our school this Tuesday.

FIELD TRIP

We will be going on a field trip to the Darien Nature Center this Thursday morning.  Part of the trip will be outside, so please remind your children to wear sneakers.  We will be back at school in time for lunch.  Thank you to Mrs. Choudhri and Mrs. Thomson for chaperoning.

Please enter your book orders by noon this Friday, April 1^st.  I will place the order after noon.

EASTER WEEKEND

There is no school this Friday, March 25^th.  Ox Ridge students will have an extra short day on Monday, March 28^th 8:55-11:45.  There will not be lunch. 

MISS DENNEN UPDATE

Our student-teacher, Miss Dennen, has been doing a great job!  She will be with our class until the end of April.  Some of you have sent in a book--thank you for sending in the “secret” gift.  There is still time to send one in.  I have made dedication labels which your child will sign for the inside cover.  If you would like to contribute towards the other gift ($3), that would be appreciated.

Makers Fair

Our class joined some Kindergarten classes at the Makers Fair in the library. We got to see some cool projects done older kids have made. We also did a spin art project using Lego robotics. 

High School Musical

Darien High School's spring musical is this weekend.  They are doing "Singing in the Rain".

Wear Green!

Don't forget to wear green on St. Patrick's Day!
