MH was so happy to have her mom come in to be a mystery reader. She brought in some fun Halloween books to share.

Mrs. S came into our class to read a book and teach us.

JM was so excited when his dad came in dressed in old fashioned wig and hat!

We were lucky to have 2 mystery readers!

Tallies are a strategy we use when solving word problems or when keeping track of points in a game.

We played a math game to help us practice making “sets” of 5.

We wrapped up our first reading unit on Building Good Habits. Today we wrote a thank you note in our partner's notebooks.

We will get new partners for the next unit on Monday.

We are making book covers for our first story. We will be revising and editing our small moment stories.

We had our first mystery reader of the year. It was fun!
